Tugra

An agent's memory should be proven: where it came from, when it was last verified, and which topics it must not invent.

Install

npx tugra init

Paste the printed config into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or Claude Code. TTY prints help. A pipe is the MCP server.

Questions

How does Tugra know a memory is stale?

Each claim stores a last verification date and a shelf life. The table on this page names those fields verified and shelf_life. Search ranks by token score, then freshness, then confidence, so a stale fact ranks behind a fresh one. Retired and rotten facts stay out of the default set.

What does Tugra not do?

Tugra does not sync to a cloud. The vault is the files you pointed at; nothing is uploaded. It does not merge two writers automatically. This release has retirement, not erasure. Contradictory facts can sit side by side until a human says otherwise. There is no hosted service: npx tugra is a local stdio process.

How do I install Tugra?

Run npx tugra init. That creates a vault, writes a sample fact, and prints a config block. Paste the printed config into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or Claude Code. On a TTY, npx tugra prints help and exits. Piped to those hosts, it is the MCP server.

What does a Tugra fact carry?

Every claim carries its source, its age, and its boundary. A fact that cannot name where it came from is not a fact. When a topic is off-limits, a boundary forbids invention. Boundary records are always quarantined until a human approves. Confidence is a value from 0 to 1 on every fact.

Does Tugra run as a hosted service?

There is no cloud. Tugra is provenance-aware memory for AI agents. The vault is the local files you pointed at. On a TTY the published command prints help and exits; when piped it is the MCP server. The core license is Apache-2.0. This package is not published as a SaaS.

The core is Apache-2.0 and free, and it stays free.

Paid work is hands on. We set up a vault with you and define the boundaries your agents must not cross, so you end up with a record you can show someone else. Ask for a quote: e.dogru@tugra-ai.com.
